The Rumba Room is the first salsa nightclub located in downtown Memphis! Our mission is to introduce Latin culture to the Greater Mid-South through food, music, and dance.
The Rumba Room specializes in Latin food, tropical mixed drinks and live entertainment. We feature salsa lessons, live salsa bands, dance competitions, shows, concerts, after-parties, and reservations for private events. Rumba Room offer’s Memphis a modern and unique place to experience the best in Latin culture.
Rentals
The Rumba Room is available to rent for special events, birthday parties, limited room rentals, and corporate functions.
RSVP You may reserve tables for parties of 4-10 persons during Salsa Night on either Friday or Saturday. Reservations are free but patrons are subject to admission. To RSVP, please contact us by email or by calling the Rumba Room at (901) 523-0020 Monday thru Friday from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
Group Parties The Rumba Room accomodates large groups for birthday parties, singles groups, church organizations, and team sports with reduced admission. You can now customize your reservation by adding catering to your event for parties of 30-persons or more. For more info or to organize your group’s “Salsa Night” outing, contact Edgar.
Room Rentals The Rumba Room is open for special events, concerts, and corporate functions on a limited basis based on availability and schedule. To rent, please contact Edgar.
Advertising Your Event If you would like to display an advertising banner on the website, please provide a 870w x 180h image. Formats excepted are: JPG, PNG, and GIF. You can also provide other images to be displayed within the description of your event. We reserve the right to reject any inappropriate content provided.
Dress Code
** BUSINESS CASUAL **
- No tennis shoes
- No baseball caps or cowboy hats
- No muscle shirts (all shirts must have sleeves)
- No plain white t-shirts
- No athletic attire
- No excessively long or baggy pants
- No ripped or torn clothing
NO EXCEPTIONS! DRESS CODE STRICTLY ENFORCED!
